This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, ads or tracking. It has no forms and collects nothing from visitors. The video thumbnail on the home page loads from YouTube (Google), which has its own privacy policy.
The "yt-stoner-fog" Google app
"yt-stoner-fog" is a private tool, not a public service. Its only user is the owner of this site. It lets his home voice assistant use his own YouTube account: it plays his liked music, likes a song when he asks, and adds uploads from channels he follows to his likes.
When the owner signs in with Google, the app requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube scope and uses it only to:
- read the list of videos he has liked,
- like a video when he asks it to,
- check whether a video is already liked.
The sign-in token and a cached copy of his liked-music list are stored only on his own computer. They are never sent to anyone else, sold, shared, or used for advertising. No other person's data is ever accessed.
The app's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the app's folder on the owner's computer deletes everything it stored.
